Accidente mortal en el Tour de Austria: fallece el ciclista noruego André Drege tras una caída
El ciclismo llora la muerte del joven ciclista André Drege tras sufrir una caída en el Tour de Austria, cuando descendía por el Großglockner. El noruego de 25 años corría para el equipo Coop-Repsol y había ganado siete carreras esta temporada.
El ciclista noruego André Drege ha fallecido a consecuencia de las graves lesiones que le ha producido una caída mientras descendía por el Großglockner durante la penúltima etapa del Tour de Austria, etapa que ha ganado Filippo Ganna.
Durante esta cuarta y penúltima etapa, el ciclista del equipo Coop Repsol se encontraba en una escapada cuando se cayó por causa indeterminada en un descenso, en la región de Grossglockner, en una de las pruebas alpinas de carretera más famosas del país, según la agencia APA, citando a los organizadores.
Sus seres queridos y miembros de su equipo deberán decidir si la última etapa se disputará el domingo o no. Las ceremonias de llegada de la etapa de hoy han sido canceladas.
La tragedia ha conmocionado al mundo del ciclismo y varios equipos ciclistas, así como los aficionados a este deporte, han querido mostrar su dolor a través de las redes sociales.

André Drege, noruego de 25 años y que defendía el maillot de Coop-Repsol, equipo continental, había celebrado siete triunfos durante esta temporada, imponiéndose también en la general de Tour de Rhodes.
